Jungle Announce New Album 'Sunshine' and Their Biggest Tour Yet

Jungle are going full arena mode. The London electronic soul outfit have announced their fifth studio album, 'Sunshine', arriving August 14, 2026, alongside a world arena tour stretching into 2027 — their most ambitious rollout to date.
The 11-track album follows 2023's 'Volcano', which turned Jungle from a cult-favorite anonymous project into a genuine crossover act. 'Sunshine' looks to push that momentum further, with lead single 'Carry On' already making waves after premiering as BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record on March 24.
One name jumps off the tracklist: Dreamville rapper Bas features on a track called 'Romeo II', marking a notable hip-hop crossover for a group rooted in lush, groove-heavy production. The full lineup of songs runs from openers 'Come Back To Me' and the title track through cuts like 'Move Like You Do', 'The Wave', and closer 'Heavy On My Soul'.
It's also worth noting that Jungle's core lineup has solidified into a trio. J Lloyd and Tom McFarland, the duo who started the project back in 2013, are now joined by Lydia Kitto as a permanent member — a shift that likely shaped the sound of this record.
“'Volcano' proved they could compete at a bigger commercial level without losing what made them interesting in the first place.”
The tour is where the scale really shows. North American dates include stops in Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Nashville, and Austin, while the UK and Ireland leg features a headline show at The O2 in London. That's a serious venue jump for a group that was playing mid-size rooms not too long ago. The run kicks off in September 2026, with dates rolling well into the following year.
Jungle's trajectory has been one of the more satisfying slow-burns in modern electronic music. They've never chased trends or blown up overnight — just steadily built a live reputation and a catalog deep enough to fill an arena. 'Volcano' proved they could compete at a bigger commercial level without losing what made them interesting in the first place.
With 'Carry On' already in rotation and a Bas collaboration teasing new creative territory, 'Sunshine' could be the album that cements Jungle as one of the UK's biggest live draws. Keep an eye on those tour dates — O2 shows have a way of selling out fast.
